The Sunday Posts 2015/Learning

I'm learning to say thank you.
And I'm learning to say please.
And I'm learning to use Kleenex,
Not my sweater, when I sneeze.
And I'm learning not to dribble.
And I'm learning not to slurp.
And I'm learning (though it sometimes really hurts me)
Not to burp.
And I'm learning to chew softer
When I eat corn on the cob.
And I'm learning that it's much
Much easier to be a slob.

heheheeh, she could be onto something!

On learning - and prompted by oor Wullie up yonder - did you note the Galashiels school on last night's news which is actively teaching Scots 'as a language'!!! I was born there and all family are there are close and they speak nothing but so you'd think the kids would hae it unner their tongues wi-oot haein' ony sic need....!!! Am guessing the surfeit of (USA) telly has something to do with it.

Hae a guid yin Alistair! YAM xx

Quite cute.
As for your friends comment about to much American Telly, well if it helps any, it is causing language issues here too. Part of the charm of traveling here in the states is the multitude of local dialects and accents. Thanks to way too many hours in front of the Telly, the younger people are all starting to sound alike.
Sad but true. Have a great day.

Sorry to be so cynical,
but I'm learning that kids who are learning are complete bastards.
