The Sunday Posts 2013/I bring fresh flowers

I bring fresh showers for the thirsting flowers,
From the seas and the streams;
I bear light shade for the leaves when laid
In their noonday dreams.
From my wings are shaken the dews that waken
The sweet buds every one,
When rocked to rest on their mother’s breast,
As she dances about the sun.
I wield the flail of the lashing hail,
And whiten the green plains under,
And then again I dissolve it in rain,
And laugh as I pass in thunder.

it's raining here as well... tho not fun on vacation i'd bet, sometimes there is nothing more refreshing than a good hard rain.

woo hoo - you too? We are just having our first monsoon storm of the season as I type - quite a relief for us, but I can imagine a wee tad frustrating at your end... then again, it chimes nicely with the hanging loose and staying cool aspects you mentioned about having!!

Continue to relax. YAM xx

Hullo Lassies!

Rain - schmain - who cares! It's all part of life, holiday or no.

Bring it on big man, bring it on!

Actually it's a nice day today - been walking in one of the local forest with our cousin's family, looking at wild orchids and drinking cider at a mountain hut reataurant so I can't complain!!!

cheers.
