The Sunday Posts 2014/Forever Young
May God bless and keep you always
May your wishes all come true
May you always do for others
And let others do for you
May you build a ladder to the stars
And climb on every rung
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young.
May you grow up to be righteous
May you grow up to be true
May you always know the truth
And see the lights surrounding you
May you always be courageous
Stand upright and be strong
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young.
May your hands always be busy
May your feet always be swift
May you have a strong foundation
When the winds of changes shift
May your heart always be joyful
And may your song always be sung
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young
Bob Dylan

Lovely poem Alistair.
Who's the lovely wee soul?
Cheers TSB.
The photo is my niece Emily and her Mum. This was taken a couple of years ago.
I like this too. {song lyrics} I think there should be another verse about keeping others young too. I can see she's going to be good at that!

Birthday time again??!! That was a quick year. Uncle Alistair has made a fine offering of words once again. Great song that. YAM xx
Hullo Yamini,
No not birthday time - that was actually a couple of months ago. I was listening to the song on youtube {by Eddie Vedder} and thought it would make a nice Sunday Post. The photo was an obvious addition for me.
Cheers!
Hey Alistair! So long as Bob sung it in his distinctive style and murdered a harmonica, I'll be happy. Salut! Roth
