The Sunday Posts 2014/ The Spirit Of D-Day.
As I watched the service of commemoration the other day one of the commentators said "As these events will soon pass from living memory as these men are lost, we shall perhaps never see their like again."
That may be true.
I pray the world never needs their like again.

...oh this never got notified to me, or was lost in the turmoil of my last week (blogpal visit from Norway!!)... I agree with you wholeheartedly. I have such love and respect for our old soldiers and they were surely a special generation. YAM xx
In all wars the soldiers are special but particularly in the First World War were they truly incredible for all the coped and put up with. God Bless Them. x
