The Sunday Posts 2013/April Rain Song

Let the rain kiss you
Let the rain beat upon your head with silver liquid drops
Let the rain sing you a lullaby
The rain makes still pools on the sidewalk
The rain makes running pools in the gutter
The rain plays a little sleep song on our roof at night
And I love the rain.

sssiigghhhhh. Oh the freshness of the photo and the sweetness of the words. I too love rain.

Thank you for the Edinburgh link - will look at that the noo. Also thanks for relieving me of menopolyxinaemic angst re the posting last week - actually had one or two crazy things like that happen to mine also. Think Google were tinkering? tsk. Happy Sunday dear fellow. YAM xx

Aw cheers Yamini.

Didn't want you thinking you'd lost the plot last week! Hope you manage to wade through the Edinburgh one. {I really should go and edit it to a better order}

You have a great week too.

Regards,
Alistair.

Hey AListair! I'm of no particular religious persuasion, but when someone once told me that "God is in the rain", I felt it was a philosophy I could get behind. Indigo

The rain makes a mess of the tulip fields and tourists from the city ask us why we haven't paved paths in our fields...

Lovely poem. I do like rain - in moderation.
