The Sunday Posts 2013/Advice to a Son

Advice To A Son

Never trust a white man,
Never kill a Jew,
Never sign a contract,
Never rent a pew.
Don't enlist in armies;
Nor marry many wives;
Never write for magazines;
Never scratch your hives.
Always put paper on the seat,
Don't believe in wars,
Keep yourself both clean and neat,
Never marry whores.
Never pay a blackmailer,
Never go to law,
Never trust a publisher,
Or you'll sleep on straw.
All your friends will leave you
All your friends will die
So lead a clean and wholesome life
And join them in the sky.

Och, such cynicism... a few noteworthy moments though!

Now you have to know that curious YAM needs info on the piccie - tide's out I am thinking - depth markers? Net poles? Sea-dog agility posts?...

Great advice.

I think I'll print it out and put on my classroom walls for the kids to read.

We all need more cynicism in our live Yam.

ps. this is the pilgrims causeway seen from Lindisfarne as people walk towards the mainland. Markers show safe passage across the sands which get inundated as tides come in. {Why they need to be so tall is beyond me!}

TSB - sounds fine. {if they can be arsed reading it of course}
