Hullo ma wee blog,
The lovely G and I are taking a break for a few days. We have rented a chalet on the edge of Aviemore - temp last night -12C - and plan to do a bit of walking, sight seeing and chilling out so my frazzled wee wifey can recover from the stress and strain of keeping me in the manner to which I have become accustomed {Yea. Right.} and I can prepare to become a whole year older.
Good grief, what is that going to do to my grumpiness..........
Although my trusty laptop will be coming I know the chalet doesn't have internet connections so it might be a wee while to the next post.

We'll have a camera but at the moment I just cant find the charger for my american canon EOS so it's out of action.

There's a good pub down by the river. The Old Bridge Inn, good food and beer, if you need a recommendation. Hope you enjoy yorself, and take your thermals.
What is it about being without internet that causes a feeling that we are going to "miss" something important? I know I'll be days or weeks without connection during the move proper---I'll have a lot of reading to catch up.

MM - We arrived here to find that they have recently installed wireless broadband so I am still able to be connected.
Funny too how I logged in just now and passed a story on a news item on my home page saying that 4 out of 5 people thought that internet access was a human right {?}
