You Know What Rejection Feels Like When..........

Hullo ma wee blog,

My lovely G has been away on a course for her work over the last couple of days leaving me and Jess alone in the house. While it's not unusual for us to be alone during the day, it's highly unusual for us to be alone overnight too. Jess' reaction has been very amusing. After G failed to come home on the first night Jess clearly believed the fault to be mine and has studiously completely ignored me since then.

You know what rejection feels like when you're being ignored by a cat!

Jings........

See you later.

After the summer holidays our cat used to run to us as we came thro' the door ,, but then a foot away he'd stop & toss his head to one side & say ,, Huh, so you're back, and you think I care ? He then slunk off and didn't make an appearance for about an hour ,, after that all was forgiven !

Only someone who lives with a cat would understand that one so well. They are such silly creatures. Hope she gets back soon, for both your sakes.

Yep, cats are odd.
They share a lot of characteristics with women.
Quick to take offense, don't forgive or forget, completely illogical.
Don't you love 'em?

I'm asthmatic too. It's ok for me as long as there's no prolonged direct contact.
