Stick to Embroidery......

Hullo ma wee blog,

I'd like to disrespectfully dedicate this to the lady who nearly took the front of the car off yesterday when she pulled in on me far too bloomin' early because she had pulled into the fast lane to overtake without indicating, checking her mirror or realising the car behind was going so much faster than she was and then panicked.

Please learn how big your nice, shiny 4x4 actually is BEFORE coming out on the road!

or,

For Pity's Sake - Don't Drive.....

Nuff said.

see you later....

If its any consolation, I was riding my bke at lunchtime yesterday with a pal from work when we wre effectievly driven ff the road (a narrow single lane farm road - metalled but small) by a woman in a car who loooked like she was going to squeeze though a gap between us and a parked digger, at speed. I slammed on the brakes and Eric (on a fixed wheel bike) ran into me and we did a slow tumble to the floor, resulting in various punctures and grazes. he woman was blithely unaware of how badly she was driving and wound down er windowto ask if we were OK. I was surprisingly polite - more than she desrved! But I am a gent...

I would never make a posting about women drivers (smiley emoticon here).
(And don't let them give you that "we're safer because we are cheaper to insure". That's only because their annual mileages are, on average, significantly lower, which is not surprising as cars are boys' toys.) Basically, I use the roads assuming everyone's out to get me.

Swifty - that made me think of the old 'Carry On Cleo' line:

"Infamy! Infamy! They've ALL got it infamy!"

SNB - sounds like we met the same driver....

Seriously - its all tongue in cheek, of course.
